A Wonderful Future
The earth as we know it
will soon pass away
replaced by a new one
a bright glorious day.
When all of God's promises
will flow from above
filling the earth
with all of His Love.
A place of pure pleasure
where no one will weep
where all will be happy
is the promise He'll keep.
Imagine the thrill
of life without end
a world filled with peace
forever to spend.
Think of the joy
in each beating heart
as mankind embarks
on a fresh new start
Where no one grows old
and no one will die
where God will wipe tears
from each crying eye
Where man and the animals
will all be at peace
a world filled with pleasure
that never will cease
No terror or fear
to plague life on earth
for all will be tranquil
a time of great worth
No sickness or sadness
or pain will you find
instead there'll be healing
and sight for the blind
The lame will then walk
and leap like a deer
the mute will then talk
for God will be near
To give us His blessings
and cure with his hand
All of these promises
are part of His plan
Jehovah has a son
who will shepherd his sheep
He'll guide us to waters
where no one will weep
The dead will arise
to inherit the land
with vigor and health
each woman and man
Each will eat fruit
from his very own vine
His very own produce
at harvesting time
Each family will live
in a house that they build
with nothing to limit
the designs of the skilled
Soon Christ will return
